Our second wellness workshop, Managing Anxiety, helped students understand what anxiety is, recognize its signs, and learn practical ways to regain calm and control. Participants discussed how anxiety often shows up as racing thoughts, tension, or restlessness—and that it’s not a flaw, but a natural response to stress.
Through a 2-minute group discussion, students reflected on what anxiety feels like and shared healthy coping strategies. The session introduced the P.L.E.A.S.E. framework—Physical health, Listen to your body, Eat healthy, Avoid substances, Sleep well, and Exercise—as simple, daily techniques to maintain mental and emotional balance.
